Salted Coco Caramel Gin Colada

It is as the name, a Gin Colada with salty coconut caramel sauce in the shake. Perhaps a nice cocktail to serve at the upcoming christmas events? Give it a try!

This is a 2 stage recipe. First you will have to make a salted cocnut caramel sauce. Easy peasy…

SALTED COCONUC CARAMEL SAUCE

In a sauce pan mix 2 dl organic coconut cream with 2 dl coconut sugar, the inside of half a vanilla stem and 2 tablespoon of butter. Bring up slow to a boil then simmer for 30 min. Let cool.

THE DRINK

In a shaker add:

  • 3cl Kyflinge Botanical London Dry Gin

  • 8cl pineapple juice

  • 1-1,5 cl salted coconut caramel sauce

  • 1cl fresh lime juice

Shake dry to build foam, then add ice and shake again. Strain in preferred glass and ever so gently dust some cinnamon powder on top. If you want more caramel, add more caramel :) You want bit more sour, add more lime.
